Sam Raimi opens up on working with Marvel again!
Fans are eagerly awaiting Marvel's response after Sam Raimi made his move and declared his desire in collaborating on Spider-Man 4 once more. The renowned director, best known for his work on the Spider-Man trilogy, had stated quite clearly what he wanted. When Raimi directed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, he collaborated with Marvel as well. Sam stated that he would "love to" be involved in the movie when questioned about the rumors that he will be directing Spider-Man 4.
 
Marvel fans have found Sam Raimi's directing resume to be rather pleasing. The 64-year-old has experience directing Marvel films; he oversaw the acclaimed Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire. Once again, he was selected to direct the popular movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. With Marvel upcoming big projects like the Avengers films and the Kang Dynasty, fans are hoping that Raimi will embark on directing a project.
 
The filmmaker informed the audience of the news when they were asked if Marvel had contacted him about any upcoming projects, he revealed, “They haven’t asked me to.” The fans’ disappointment was short-lived as the director revealed that he would “love to” work with them again. “They haven’t reasonably asked me to. I hope they had a good experience with me. They haven’t asked me yet. I hope they do,” he clarified.
 
Raimi mentioned his desire to helm Spider-Man 4. There have been rumors recently suggesting that the director was selected to helm the next Spiderman movie. The filmmaker addressed those concerns while acknowledging that he hadn't yet been in touch with Marvel about it. “I mean, Marvel and Columbia are so successful with current Spider-Man movies, and the track there, and I don’t know that they’re going to go back to me,” he explained.
