Because of the numerous films he has starred in over the years, Paresh Rawal is a successful Bollywood actor who is adored by his fans. But after sustaining a knee injury, he was terrified that his career was no longer possible. However, Veeru Devgan, Ajay Devgn's father, met him at that point and suggested that Rawal drink his first urine of the day.
Paresh Rawal relived the experience of filming a sequence for Rajkumar Santoshi's Ghatak in a media interaction. According to the senior actor, he was in a fish market filming a scene with Rakesh Pandey. He collapsed to his knees after tripping over his slick shoes. His friends Danny Denzongpa and Tinnu Anand hurried him to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.
A terrified Rawal worried about his profession and providing for his family while he recovered from the accident. His wife was on the verge of giving birth to their second kid at that moment. Fortunately, however, Ajay Devgn's father, Veeru Devgan, paid him a visit at the hospital and offered him some strange but helpful counsel.
The OMG actor was urged by Senior Devgan to drink his first urine of the day. “Subah uthkar first urine peena apna, sab fighter log yeh hi karte hain. Koi takleef nahi rahegi (When you wake up in the morning, drink your first urine of the day. All the fighters do the same)," The senior actor was informed by Ajay's father.
But he also cautioned him against smoking, drinking, and eating meat the night before. The Welcome actor followed suit for the following fifteen days. “Agar mujhe urine pina hai toh mai udhel nahi dunga. I will sip it like beer. Karna hai toh pure tareeke se karna hai (If I have to drink my urine, then I won’t gulp it down, but I will sip it like beer. I will do it in a proper way),” Rawal said himself.
When the physicians took his X-ray after 15 days, they were astounded by how rapidly his injury was healing. The white line was beginning to develop. After following Veeru Devgan's guidance, Rawal was released in 1.5 months instead of the usual 2-2.5 months. According to the Hera Pheri star, "it was like magic."
