Ajay Devgn opens up on the Increased Pressure Faced by Young Actors Today! Tue January 07th, 2025

Excited about his next production, Azaad, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn emphasized the industry's notable advancements, especially with regard to professionalism. The 55-year-old actor also talked about how the audience has changed over time during the trailer premiere event, sharing, "Our mistakes were overlooked, and young actors today face more pressure because the audience is more aware and unforgiving and they have to prepared to deliver on one go."

Ajay Devgn discussed how the industry has changed since his Phool Aur Kaante debut during the release of the Azaad trailer. According to him, performers used to have the chance to learn while they performed because they had more time to hone their craft, and the audience was more understanding of their errors.

He did, however, note that the audience of today is far more critical and merciless, and they have higher standards for both established and up-and-coming performers. As a result, he says, it is crucial that actors are ready and give powerful performances from the beginning.

Additionally, according to Ajay, actors of the present generation are better prepared and work harder on every assignment.

Ajay Devgn also thanked their director, Abhishek Kapoor, for his superb direction and offered his thoughts on the effort Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan put into their maiden movie, Azaad.

The actor from Son of Sardaar 2 added that he always encourages Aaman to perform better than his best since he thinks that the public can be harsh and that young actors entering the business today face a lot of pressure.

Azaad, which is being produced by Pragya Kapoor and Ronnie Screwvala, will be released in theaters on January 17, 2025.
