Recently, Karan Johar sent a touching and emotional birthday message for his children, Yash and Roohi Johar, on Instagram. As he celebrated another year of their lives and cherished the moments they brought into his life, the proud father conveyed his immense love and happiness. Reflecting on the unique connection he has with children; Karan wrote in his essay that "his biggest achievement is being a father."
Karan Johar can be seen posing with his children, Yash and Roohi, in the released photos. In every picture, the three of them exuded warmth and joy. Their close relationship was portrayed in the photos, and Karan's pride and affection for his kids were shown in their happy faces.
The post read, "My biggest Achievement is one of being a father…. I named them after my parents because I felt beyond a lineage or a name an emotion must continue … they are my world!!! Happy birthday Roohi and Yash… my biggest prayer for you both is to be Kind always."
Through surrogacy, Karan Johar became the father of twins, Yash and Roohi, in February 2017. By rearranging his mother's name, Hiroo, he gave his baby the name Yash in honour of his late father, Yash Johar, and his daughter, Roohi.
In a previous interview with a tabloid, the director talked about his choice to use surrogacy to conceive. In 2017, he and his mother, Hiroo Johar, became co-parents to twins, Yash and Roohi.
Johar revealed that when he was forty years old, his mother inquired about his life goals because he had no intention of getting married. He took his time making the decision, but his mother was supportive when he stated that he wanted children.
