Wed March 12th, 2025
Alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna is presently filming Thama, her next vampire-comedy movie. Both celebrities have been spotted posting BTS behind-the-scenes photos on a number of occasions. Most recently, the Sikandar actress posted pictures from her "night shoot," which she obviously did not appreciate!
Rashmika Mandanna shared a couple of images from the Thama sets on her Instagram stories a few hours ago. The actress appears to have finished the session because in the first photo, she is seen sleeping in her car while holding her pillow. The actress is wearing a black t-shirt and cargo pants, and the rising sun can be seen in the distance.
Another image showed her carrying a glass with writing printed on it as she was in her makeup area, "Thama Night Shoot," followed by a smile emoji. She also accompanied the picture with a caption expressing, "Hmmm...night shoots...how much I love nights shoots...clearly.! @aditya_a_ sarpotdar sir knows very well. #Thama."
She also posted a note along with a photo of the moon on another Instagram story. "Thama night be like...Bloody night it looks like... #Thama day 16." In the meantime, the director re-shared the anecdote in response to the Sikandar actress' tweet and said, "Ha ha...as they say, A picture is worth a thousand words."
The director resumed filming the movie with a new plan, according to a Mid-day article that surfaced a few days ago. This resulted from the movie being halted for a period of one and a half months following Rashmika's leg injury.
The cast and crew of the movie, which is presently filming in Delhi, will relocate to Film City on March 27. There, sets that replicate Delhi streets and homes have been constructed. Instead, the scenes that were saved for the city will be filmed here, with Nawazaddin Siddiqui joining.
Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin play important roles in Thama, which was directed by Munjya star Aditya Sarpotdar and starred Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. It will be released on Diwali 2025 and is supported by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films.
