Karan Johar's Bold Prediction About Khushi and Junaid After 'Loveyapa'!
With Loveyapa, Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan will make their big-screen debuts. Director Karan Johar recently praised the love film's "magical" performance on Instagram, referring to it as 2025's first success story. He also lavished love on the entire Loveyapa cast and crew.
 
Karan Johar's post read, "Drum roll for 2025s first love story success story… #loveyapa talks to the Tech and App obsessed Gen Z with a love story that is hugely entertaining and makes solid points with brevity and precision... its what you genuinely call a great time at the movies!!!!."
 
He revealed, "You will fall in love with all the characters ( terrific ensemble ) and root for the magical and endearing leads #junaidkhan and @khushikapoor … I can happily watch the film again and top credit to director @advaitchandan for bringing pace, relentless energy, humour, emotion and solid storytelling to the fore!!! Congratulations to Madhu Mantena, Shrishti Behl, and the entire cast and crew of the best popcorn ride I have had at the movies in a while!"
 
The romance between Baani (Khushi Kapoor) and Gaurav (Junaid Khan) takes unexpected and humorous turns in the Loveyapa teaser. Before deciding to get married, their families challenge them to trade phones for a day in order to gauge their level of trust.

Confusion and frustration result from the tumultuous series of events that follow, when buried facts come to light. Their trust and communication are put to the test as Gaurav and Baani deal with private disclosures, such as dubious texts and previous relationships. Their love story takes a dramatic turn when a straightforward phone conversation devolves into a maelstrom of miscommunications.
 
Set against a fast-paced, humorous backdrop, Loveyapa explores the peculiar qualities of relationships through witty banter and an interesting plot. The trailer ends with a lighthearted warning about the dangers of phone swapping, emphasizing the hilarious chaos that ensues.

Among others, Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, and Kiku Sharda will appear in the movie. Phantom and AGS Entertainment are presenting the next romantic comedy, which is directed by Advait Chandan, who helmed Laal Singh Chaddha. On February 7, 2025, the film will be released in theatres.
