King's Team Takes Time: Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand Aim High!

Following a successful 2023 box office run, Shah Rukh Khan is scheduled to make his big-screen comeback in 2026 with King. Although Sujoy Ghosh was originally slated to helm the movie, SRK and his crew were able to get Siddharth Anand to take his place.

A media source claims that Siddharth Anand is finishing up King's script while keeping his sense of direction in mind. “Siddharth Anand and Shah Rukh Khan have made a film like Pathaan and the idea is to up the standards set by YRF Spy Universe film with King. Hence, Sid is getting all the things right on paper before taking the film on floors,” a source revealed.

 

The source also revealed that King will now go on floors in June rather than March because to the extensive pre-production work. “The film will be shot in India and Europe starting June 2025. Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix are committed to providing a larger-than-life cinematic experience to the audience and bring the film to the big screen by the end of 2026,” the source further revealed.

 

Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan play important parts in King as well.
