Gadar 3: Sunny Deol's Heartfelt Desire to Reprise Tara Singh's Role!

One of the most beloved movie series among Indian viewers is the Gadar franchise, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. Nearly 22 years after the release of the first installment of the romantic drama in 2001, the sequel was equally well-received. In addition, Deol has acknowledged his desire to portray Tara Singh repeatedly, and fans are excitedly awaiting Gadar 3.

 

Right now, Sunny Deol is anticipating the release of his next movie, Jaat. He spoke with his fans and sat down for an exclusive interview with us prior to its release. A fan questioned the celebrity about the third installment of the Gadar series during the discussion.

 

This prompted the Jaat actor to reply, "I would love to play Tara Singh over and over again because it is such a wonderful character."

 

"He is a character which has got everything—bholapan (innocence), romance, sab kuch hai uske andar aur jab ukhad jata hai to fir ukhaad deta hai sab kuch (he has everything in him and when he gets angry, he uproots everything)," Deol clarified with a laugh.

He further revealed, "Toh ye depend karta hai (So, it depends). Whenever he (Anil Sharma) wants to make it, we're all there. I would love to play the character once again, definitely."

 

Notably, director Anil Sharma gave us a significant update on Gadar 3 last year when he spoke with us, saying that the movie's preparations were well underway and that the script was being worked on.

 

Speaking of Jaat, Deol will once more appear in an action avatar in the forthcoming action movie. Other key actors in it include Regina Cassandra, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Viineet Kumar, Saiyami Kher, Randeep Hooda, Ramya Krishnan, and Swarupa Ghosh.
