Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has made headlines with a significant real estate move, reportedly leasing four luxury apartments in Mumbai's upscale Pali Hill area. The move, which places him in close proximity to his long-time contemporary Shah Rukh Khan, has sparked considerable interest among fans and in the industry.

 

According to property registration documents accessed by a portal, the actor has rented these high-end apartments for a combined monthly rent of ₹24.5 lakh. The move is temporary, necessitated by the upcoming redevelopment of his primary residence, the Virgo Cooperative Housing Society, where he owns multiple flats.

The leased apartments are located on Nargis Dutt Road in the Wilnomona Apartment building, one of Pali Hill's most coveted addresses. The lease agreement, signed for a duration of five years from May 2025 to May 2030, comes with a 45-month lock-in period. As per the documents, Aamir Khan paid a security deposit of over ₹1.46 crore and a stamp duty of more than ₹4 lakh. The agreement also includes a 5% annual rent escalation.

 

This temporary shift allows the actor to continue living in the same luxurious neighborhood while his original building undergoes a major transformation. The redevelopment project, undertaken by Atmosphere Realty, is expected to create ultra-luxury, sea-facing homes, with some units projected to be valued at over ₹100 crore.

Sources indicate that Aamir Khan’s new residence in Wilnomona is situated just 750 meters away from Puja Casa, making the two superstars temporary neighbors in one of Mumbai's most prestigious and celebrity-filled locales. This coincidence highlights the close-knit nature of the elite Pali Hill area, which is home to many Bollywood A-listers, including Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt.
