Mother India child actor Sajid Khan's sad demise after battle with cancer!

Many actors who have made an impression on moviegoers have worked in the Indian film business. The seasoned actor Sajid Khan was one among them. His portrayal of a young Sunil Dutt in the classic film Mother India made him well-known. Sadly, though, the well-known actor passed away just last week.

 

On December 22, actor Sajid Khan, another jewel in the Indian cinema business, passed away. The actor, who was in his early 70s, was reportedly battling cancer, according to his son Sameer. But regrettably, he passed away from cancer and left for his heavenly abode.  Sameer told to a media source, “He had been battling cancer for a while. He passed away on Friday.”

 

Sameer went on to say that the Mother India actor turned to philanthropy and settled in Kerala with his second wife after stepping back from the spotlight and ceasing to work in the business.

 

“My father was adopted by Rajkumar Pitamber Rana and Sunita Pitamber and fostered by filmmaker Mehboob Khan. He was not active in films for a while and was mostly involved in philanthropy. He used to come to Kerala quite often and he liked it here, remarried, and settled here,” Sameer posted.
