Celebs come to Deepika Padukone’s rescue over trolling!

After revealing her first pregnancy with husband Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone astonished her fans. Since then, the actress has maintained a low profile and hasn't made many appearances showing off her bump.

The actress recently showed off her adorable bump when she went out to vote in the Lok Sabha Election 2024. However, a lot of online users ridiculed her and even called her bump phony after this appearance. Famous journalist Faye D'Souza recently posted a scathing critique of trolls, and many others agreed. Alia Bhatt was one name among them.

 

Faye D'Souza expressed her strong views against people who are mocking Deepika Padukone on her Instagram profile. She begged everyone to respond appropriately in her tweet, adding that the actress had only gone outside to exercise her democratic right to vote. She added that the actress had not solicited their opinion regarding her pregnancy.

 

Sonakshi Sinha, Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt, her mother Soni Razdan, Rakul Preet Singh, and others have all expressed their approval of this post. Shruti Seth posted a message in the comments area. She penned, "Luckily @deepikapadukone is too busy to take over the world to give a damn! she's walking all over their damn opinion." Ahana Kumra also commented, "Good on you Faye."

 

The Lok Sabha Election of 2024 took place in Mumbai on May 20, and practically all of the Bollywood stars turned out to vote. Among those who cast ballots were Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The actress looked stunning with her hair pulled up in a ponytail and an oversized white blouse worn with jeans. Everyone was staring at the Ranveer Singh because of the way she was supporting and hugging her bump.
