This week, Taylor Swift expressed her gratitude on social media for Sabrina Carpenter, who unexpectedly joined her on stage for a duet during her Eras Tour in New Orleans.

Taylor Swift called Carpenter the "pop princess of our dreams" on Instagram, praising her commitment to her fans despite balancing her own Short n' Sweet Tour. One of the highlights of Swift's three-night run in The Big Easy, which lasted from October 24 to October 27, was Carpenter's cameo.
 
 
Swift praised Carpenter for her visit in an Instagram post on October 29. She also described how she utilized one of her few days off to give Swift's followers an unexpected moment of happiness. "One of the things I’ll always remember from this weekend was getting to surprise the crowd with a performance by the pop princess of our dreams, @sabrinacarpenter," Swift posted.
 
Swift praised Carpenter for her visit in an Instagram post on October 29. She also described how she utilized one of her few days off to give Swift's followers an unexpected moment of happiness, “She does things like this, goes out of her way to give fans a surprise moment they didn’t expect. She’s as real as they come, and I’m so thankful she did that for us.”
 
On Saturday, October 27, Carpenter appeared on stage with Swift as part of the Eras Tour's unexpected acoustic performance at the Caesars Superdome. Carpenter made the short journey to New Orleans to spend the evening with Swift after performing the previous evening in Tampa, Florida.

Her arrival gave the performance a thrilling new dimension. Before calling her on stage, Swift built suspense by playing an acoustic rendition of Carpenter's popular song Espresso.
 
Teasing the crowd, Swift told, “I think tonight I’m gonna do something completely different, which is I’m gonna sing a song that’s not mine, but it’s by somebody that I really love.” She then asked fans, “How loud can you sing this song?”
