Emma Mackey opens up about reprising her role as Maeve in Sex Education 5!

Emma Mackey rose to fame as Maeve Wiley in the well-liked Sex Education series on Netflix. But sadly, for her admirers, it's possible that the actress won't appear in Sex Education 5. Yup, you read that correctly; Mackey won't be reprising her part in the show's following seasons. At the 2023 BAFTAs, the actress made this affirmation.

 

As per a media updates, Emma Mackey was questioned about her return to the comedy-drama series in the forthcoming season. Replying to the question, the 27-year-old British-French actress revealed, “Season 5? I’ve just finished the fourth one last week!” Adding further, she said, “No, I don’t think I’ll be in season 5. I’ve said goodbye to Maeve.” So, it looks like Sex Education season 4 will be the last time when we get to see Mackey essay Maeve on screen.
