Charlie Cox Opens Up About Daredevil and the Avengers Speculation!

In the next Marvel movie Avengers: Doomsday, Charlie Cox is answering questions about whether or not he will make his Daredevil debut. The actor posted a picture of himself on social media in December, getting ready for his upcoming role as a superhero in the new MCU series.

Cox's appearance in the upcoming Avengers film was revealed by the owners of the gym where he had been training for the role.

 

Cox told a tabloid that he was preparing for the role in Daredevil: Born Again in response to the reports.

 

He revealed, “I was there for Christmas with my family. And on the last day, they asked if they could take a picture with me, which we did.” Cox further added, “I had said to them, ‘I’m getting ready to play Daredevil,’ ’cause I am! I’m getting ready to play Daredevil in season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again.”

 

During a media chat, Cox disclosed, “Sometimes people who aren’t really in the [entertainment] world, they don’t understand the terminology or whatever, but for some reason, they posted that and they put ‘getting ready for his role in the Avengers,’ which is not true.”

 

In the meantime, Cox will be back in his suit in Daredevil: Born Again, one of the year's most anticipated programs. The White Tiger's arrival has also been hinted at in the series' trailer.

In the conversation, the actor also expressed his regret for the misunderstanding and affirmed that he would only bring the character back in the Marvel series.
