Siddharth Anand opens up on Hrithik Roshan's role in Fighter!
The renowned Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan and hitmaker Siddharth Anand are planning to work together once more on the eagerly awaited film Fighter. The production, which is regarded as the first aerial action film ever produced in India, got under way last year. The third session of the movie, which was just completed in Hyderabad by Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand, is now complete. Recently, the director Siddharth spoke candidly about Fighter and Hrithik's part in the movie in a recent interview with a daily.
In a media chat, director Siddharth Anand revealed that Hrithik Roshan's character in the film - Patty - is entirely different from the actor's characters from Bang Bang! and War. "This is my third film with Hrithik Roshan, and each of my characters has been entirely different. Rajveer (from Bang Bang!) and Kabir (from War) are two different people and their personalities are completely opposite. Patty, the character that he is playing in Fighter – he has made it his own," stated the talented filmmaker.
Hrithik Roshan received high appreciation from the director for his commitment to his roles and flawless acting abilities. "And Hrithik is like a chameleon. He just adapts and becomes that character for that whole year. He brings a certain genuineness to the role, that can last throughout a franchise. So, it is not just made up for that moment, he totally becomes that person," further revealed Siddharth Anand.
Hrithik Roshan and the acclaimed actress Deepika Padukone will work together for the first time onscreen in the much-awaited project, which is said to be an all-out action movie. According to reports, Anil Kapoor, a seasoned actor, has a significant role in the movie and both Hrithik and Deepika portray fighter pilots in it. A stellar star cast, including Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and others in supporting parts, is featured in the Siddharth Anand directed film. Marflix Pictures is providing funding for the eagerly awaited project.
