Raveena Tandon reminisces getting mobbed for alleged rash driving incident!

Raveena Tandon made news in June 2024 for a terrifying incident in which she and her driver were attacked by a mob in Mumbai due to accusations of careless driving. Raveena recently revealed that a day later, almost the exact same thing happened to Richa Chadha. "No CCTV cameras to record the truth," she declared, adding that Richa was forced to settle the issue in private as instructed by the authorities because she was unable to make an official complaint.

 

During a media chat, Raveena Tandon spoke about the terrifying experience she had in June when she was the target of an irrational mob. In addition to providing updates on her case, she also brought up a comparable occurrence that happened the next day and involved actress Richa Chadha.

Raveena claims that these incidents show an unsettling trend in Mumbai that appears to be planned to instill fear and intimidation. She revealed that Richa Chadha, who had experienced a similar incident with a crowd, had called her the day after her own attack.

 

Richa was sadly unable to file a formal complaint because there was no CCTV evidence to support her allegations. The Heeramandi actress, according to Raveena, was even put under pressure to settle the dispute by making a settlement payment.

 

“Unfortunately, no CCTV cameras to record the truth. In fact, she had to pay up. She had to settle the matter. The cops told her that settle it. She, in fact, the poor thing, went ahead and settled,” she remembered.

 

In an update on her case, Raveena said that the police investigation had determined that the mob attack was planned with the goal of obtaining ransom money from her.

Recounting the terrifying incident, she described how hostile the mob had been, even trying to break into her house as her husband and kids were upstairs. The male employees of the residence were being yanked and beaten by the trespassers, which caused the scene to become chaotic.

 

A tense altercation between Raveena Tandon and a group of neighbors who accused her and her driver of abusing three women was captured on camera in June and went viral. Raveena was allegedly hit and shoved during the disturbance as she tried to interact with the crowd to calm things down.

While a man in the audience accused her driver of hurting his mother and blamed Raveena for starting the altercation, implying that she was intoxicated, the footage showed her screaming, "Please don't hit me." The event happened in Bandra, Mumbai, on Carter Road.
