Nikhil Advani opens up about SRK's habit of humorously criticizing films!
In 2003, Nikhil Advani directed his first feature film, Kal Ho Naa Ho. Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta play major parts in the romantic drama film. Even though the timeless film was a box office hit, SRK felt it was "rubbish."
The Salaam-e-Ishq director recently explained to an interviewer why Shah Rukh Khan made such a statement regarding his first picture.
Nikhil Advani, a renowned producer and director in Bollywood, spoke with a media source recently. He talked about his experience working with Shah Rukh Khan during his discussion on his film career. The director said that the Pathaan actor has a tendency to express disapproval towards the films he is currently producing.
Nikhil revealed that King Khan was filming Hey Ram concurrently with SRK as an assistant director on Mohabbatein. He went on to claim that the Jawan actor frequently shows up at meetings and tells everyone to watch the other movie since the one he is working on with you is garbage. “In Kal Ho Naa Ho, he said Devdas is fantastic, Kal Ho Naa Ho is rubbish. So, he has that habit,” Nikhil revealed.
The director is excitedly awaiting Vedaa, his next picture, to be released. The film was finally approved U/A a few days ago by the Central Board of Film Certification's revising committee without a single cut.
Inspired by true events, the action-drama film Vedaa stars Tamannaah Bhatia, John Abraham, Sharvari, and Abhishek Banerjee in important parts. August 15, 2024 is the planned release date for the movie.
