Sonakshi Sinha opens up on women being paid less in the industry!

With her portrayal of Fareedan in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, Sonakshi Sinha is gaining popularity. The online series, which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has received positive reviews and has won awards. The actress attributes the success of this web series to the favorable reviews of her last show, Dahaad.

 

The actress has demonstrated her adaptability and established her permanence with these two hits. She discussed battling this issue and the pay gap between male and female actresses in a recent media talk.

 

Regarding her professional life at the moment, Sonakshi Sinha stated that she is living her best life and playing the kinds of roles that she has always desired. The Lootera actress went on to say that she is embracing and making the most of her unique roles, each of which is different from the others. She did, however, add that even if she is going through a nice time, she is still battling for the money that she believes she is due.

 

“It’s not easy and it doesn’t feel right sometimes. When filmmakers approach you, they know that you bring something to the table. But when it comes to the money conversation, everybody just wants an actress, particularly to reduce her fee,” disclosed Sonakshi. The actress stated that although she does not know why this occurs, women must fight this struggle. “We’re fighting too many battles anyway. So, this fight for remuneration is just one of them,” actress ended the chat.
