Rani Mukerji opens up on the importance of audience's feedback!

For a considerable amount of time, Bollywood's most talented woman, Rani Mukerji, has been dazzling audiences. Over her lengthy and distinguished career, the actress has consistently favored quality over quantity. Her diverse skill set is seen in her critically acclaimed films, such as Mardaani, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The actress opened herself completely in a recent interview when discussing the value of audience response. She continued by stating her conviction that viewers would never arrive with the intention of “an agenda to hate a film.”

 

Rani Mukerji recently spoke at length about her opinions on how learning gets better with each assignment in an interview with a daily. She also referred to her audience as the “most honest critic” since she thinks they don’t go into movies with preconceived notions about what movies they won’t like. The actress said that hearing from someone that they wish to win every award is the most satisfying thing for her.

 

“The most rewarding thing is when somebody comes and tells me that they wish I win all the awards. That's genuine, and that, in itself, is an award. I'd rather have people to say that rather than them saying that I don't deserve an award, but I won it. For me, that is more rewarding,” she told.

 

Furthermore, the actress from Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway highlighted that her motivation stems from the opinions of her audience. The actress acknowledges that she gains "learning experience" from a movie's disastrous box office run.

 

 

She said, “It's important to know how the audience perceives my films and what do they think about, and it happens even when my film doesn't work. When a film doesn't work, it means there's something that they haven't connected to. It's a learning experience with each film. They are spending their hard-earned money, and they have all the right to tell you whether they loved you or hated you. It's the most honest critique to have because they have no agenda. They won't come with an agenda to hate a film.”
