Mira Rajput's Sweet Message for Shahid Kapoor After Watching "Deva"!

Last Friday, January 31, 2025, saw the theatrical premiere of Shahid Kapoor's eagerly awaited police action film. Even though the film's director, Rosshan Andrews, is getting a lot of praise from moviegoers, Shahid's wife, Mira Rajput, couldn't stop raving about her husband's "riveting" performance in the "killer thriller."

Mira Rajput, the wife of Shahid Kapoor, shared a black-and-white poster of Deva with her husband on her Instagram stories. When reviewing the film, she praised it profusely and used the word "riveting," followed by a fire emoji. She further revealed, "Somehow you are able to bring the madness, rage and vulnerability all into Dev! Proud of your craft! Killer Thriller!"

 

Additionally, she used the Marji Cha Malik song from Deva, which is created by Jakes Bejoy and sung by Shreyas, in the backdrop.

In order to determine how interested his followers were in Deva, Shahid also conducted a Q&A session on X prior to its release. When a fan asked him about his initial thoughts upon reading the climax during the interactive session, the actor said he was taken aback and thought it was novel. “Was shocked post-climax. Found it very fresh,” the actor replied.

 

In addition, he described the movie as "unpredictable" in response to a fan's query. He also talked about his experience working with Rosshan Andrews, describing him as "a solid director" and acknowledging that he had "a great time" making the movie.

 

The cop actioner, which was directed by Rosshan Andrews, is a re-make of the Malayalam movie Mumbai Police, which was also directed by the same person. Pooja Hegde plays the main character in the movie, while Pavail Gulatie, Pravessh Rana, and Kubbra Sait play important supporting parts.
