Karan Johar's heartfelt note ahead of Dekha Tenu song release from Mr. & Mrs. Mahi!

This month marks the premiere of Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, the eagerly awaited sports drama. Recently, the trailer for the film starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao was unveiled. Fans were taken aback by a glimpse of the Dekha Tenu song replica.

 

Producer Karan Johar has now hinted at the complete song's release, referring to it as a song that is dear to his heart.

 

Today, May 14, in advance of the premiere of the first song from the film Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, director Karan Johar posted a heartfelt statement on Instagram. Karan’s note read, “This song is already echoing in all the hearts with just a small glimpse...and it carries on the purity of love that it did before…”

 

Speaking about his attachment to the song, Karan further revealed, “A song very close to my heart, soon to be yours from Mr. & Mrs. Mahi -Karan Johar.” The remark makes it obvious that Karan is referring to the version of the song Dekha Tenu that was made for the movie starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

 

Say Shava Shava from Karan's film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham features the Dekha Tenu verse, which is still recognizable today. Fans are already getting excited about the trailer's hint. Within the caption, Karan told, “You know what it is….it’s coming soon!!! #MrAndMrsMahi.”
