Is Ranveer Singh replacing SRK in Don 3?

Don 3 by Farhan Akhtar has recently made headlines. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani recently announced that Farhan is now working on the script for the third instalment, which has everyone buzzing. However, as a media source exclusively disclosed that Shah Rukh Khan would not be appearing in Don 3, internet users expressed disappointment. In the first two instalments, SRK played the major role and won everyone over with his excellent work. The most recent rumour now asserts that Ranveer Singh might take SRK's place in Don 3.

 

Ranveer has been confirmed to portray the movie's title character in the third installment, according to a recent report on A channel. The actor has previously worked with Farhan and Ritesh's production company and appeared in films like Gully Boy and Dil Dhadakne Do. The source revealed the portal, "Following Shah Rukh’s exit, the makers of Don 3 were looking for a popular and bankable name who could take the Don legacy ahead. And they have finally zeroed in on Ranveer. This association has borne fruit in the past and it will be no surprise if the collaboration proves to be another runway hit. According to the source, Ranveer has already finished filming the announcement video, which the producers plan to release as soon as possible. It's also claimed that the producers told Shah Rukh that Ranveer will take over as the new Don.
