With her next web endeavor, The Royals, Bhumi Pednekar is ready to enchant her admirers. Ishaan Khatter, Zeenat Aman, Dino Morea, Nora Fatehi, and others have important roles in the next Netflix series. The actress said she is excited about the project, even if the release date has not yet been revealed. Additionally, she acknowledged that she had never thought of playing a "quintessential heroine" on screen.

During a latest media chat, Bhumi Pednekar revealed, “I'm very excited for The Royals. I don't want to get my hopes high; I just want the show to be looked upon for what it is. So far, whatever assets we've put out, I've gotten a lot of love. It makes me very happy that people are excited to watch Ishaan and I together. He's a great actor.”

The actress, who began her career in an unusual part in Dum Laga Ke Haisha, acknowledges that she never "even imagined" going through this kind of change. She made it clear that she would not hesitate to change who she is for a role, even if she would be playing the "quintessential heroine part" in the upcoming production.

She clarified her statement by saying that the reason she is successful is because the girl who began her career with DLKH ten years ago is also playing such a role.

Although Bhumi is loving her commercial role, she also mentioned that her first movie helped her identify the type of film she wanted to make: one that is completely entertaining while simultaneously bringing about change or sparking a particular discussion.

She maintained that she had established a niche for herself in which these kinds of responsibilities are required of her. However, she would lose her credibility and the audience would be disappointed the day she ceased playing these parts.

Earlier this year, during a special Netflix launch event, the trailer for the next series, The Royals, was made public. The series, which is directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, counts Sakshi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman, Nora Fatehi, Milind Soman, Dino Morea, Chunky Panday, Vihaan Samat, Kavya Trehan, Sumukhi Suresh, Udit Arora, Lisa Mishra, and Luke Kenny among its ensemble cast.
