At the recent Grammy Awards 2025, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars were added to the list of winners. But what followed was much more poignant and impactful.
With their hit song "Die With a Smile," the two well-known performers took up the award for best pop duo/group performance. Mars expressed his gratitude for being featured in the song alongside the Always Remember Us This Way musician after they won for their Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping song.
“I’m so honored to have a small part in your giant musical legacy, and I really truly believe that God gave us this song to sing together, so thank you so much,” the Just the Way You Are singer stated.
At the Grammy 2025, Lady Gaga praised the LGBTQ+ community while also expressing a similar passion for her colleague, describing him as a brilliant musician and a terrific human being.
The Hold My Hand singer added that she was honored to sing for everyone and that her career as a musician is a gift, “I just wanna say tonight that trans people are not invisible. Trans people deserve love. The queer community deserves to be lifted up.”
Additionally, Lady Gaga debuted Abracadabra, a new song and music video from her upcoming album Mayhem.
