Kajol to reveal a disclaimer about herself! Thu November 30th, 2023

A new episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8 is here since it's Thursday. Filmmaker Karan Johar invited Bollywood stars Kajol and Rani Mukerji to sit on his peculiar couch and discuss their personal and professional lives. Kajol also issued a disclaimer for herself throughout the show.

The guests on Karan Johar's show begin by discussing their experiences collaborating with the director. The program then seamlessly transitions to the rapid-fire round, during which Kajol divulges some information about the most recent Koffee With Karan Season 8 episode.

The actress was on her toes while replying to some of the interesting questions of Karan. This is when he asked her ‘If Kajol came with a disclaimer, what would it read?’ Without wasting any time, the Dilwale actress revealed, “Believe me because even when I’m joking, I’m telling you the truth.” This seemed to impress the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani director.

Rani participated in the rapid-fire round later on in the show as well. Even though Kajol answered quickly and cleverly, it was the Black actress who won the coffee hamper and impressed the jury.

The fact that both actresses are cousins is well known. But the show made it clear that they didn't really talk to each other back then. Speaking about it, Kajol told, “Nothing really like that. It was just an organic distance. Where work is concerned it’s more that both of us liked where we were.”

Rani added her thoughts to the discussion and concurred that it was a little odd. The Black actress said, “Because I have known her as a kid and she was Kajol didi for me and it was a bit stranger. I guess when you grow apart you really don’t know the reason why because you don’t meet that often because Kajol didi used to stay in town and we were in Juhu. Me and Tanisha were much closer and we are still. But Kajol didi was always closer to the boys of the family. So, it was a bit strange.”
