Kareena Kapoor Khan opens up on similarity between her characters Jas and Geet's traits!

Right now, Kareena Kapoor Khan is anticipating the premiere of her movie, The Buckingham Murders. She is portraying detective Jasmeet Bhamra. The "Bathinda wali Sikhni" Kareena portrays in Jab We Met, Geet, is one of her most well-known roles. The actress disclosed whether Jas and Geet have any characteristics in common during the release of the teaser for her next film.
The Buckingham Murders crew got together today, September 3, 2024, for an event in Mumbai to introduce the teaser. Given that they were both Sardarnis, Kareena Kapoor Khan was questioned about whether her character Jas had any characteristics with Geet during the event.
Kareena said that she didn't think so because Jab We Met was a very different film. She said, “It doesn't matter if you're playing the same authenticity of a religion, like if I am a Sikhni, it doesn't mean that I’m going to be Bathinda wali Sikhni. I should also be able to play the detective Jas Bhamra.” Kareena thought that it was the actor's duty to play a variety of roles.
Kareena went on to compare two more characters from her films, she said, “Like I’ve played a pr*stitute in Chameli but at the same time in Talaash. But if you put both of them together they're completely different.” In the same way, she believed Jas to be a completely distinct persona.
In the meantime, a sneak peek at the compelling thriller's plot can be seen in The Buckingham Murders' two-minute, 34-second trailer. Detective Bhamra, who is suspicious of everyone around her, conducts a criminal investigation in the story.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sanjeev Mehra, Adwoa Akoto, and Zain Hussain are among the film's cast members. Kareena Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor are the producers of Hansal Mehta's film. The screenplay has been written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker.
On September 13, 2024, The Buckingham Murders will be released in theaters nationwide. After starring alongside actors Kriti Sanon and Tabu in the heist comedy Crew, this will be Kareena's second movie of the year.
