Actor Henry 'Hank' Deutschendorf commits suicide at 29!
Ghostbusters II child star Henry 'Hank' Deutschendorf passed away at the age of 29 after he committed suicide at his residence.

As per the San Diego Coroner's report, he committed suicide by hanging himself.
The Hollywood actor, who was most well-known for his role of baby Oscar in Ghostbusters II, was battling schizoaffective disorder for a long time. Schizoaffective disorder is a combination of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

As per a leading newswire, Henry Deutschendorf was discovered by his twin brother William, who also starred as baby Oscar in the 1989 movie, in the apartment in Escondido, CA.

In his blog post, June 21, his brother William confirmed his brother's passing. He posted, “It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my twin brother, Hank. On Wednesday, June 14th,2017, Henry John Deutschendorf II lost his battle with schizoaffective disorder.”

“He experienced hallucinations, delusions, depression, and mania. It is a very severe mental illness that usually requires a lifetime of treatment. It is not well studied, so the treatment is largely an estimation based on schizophrenia and bipolar treatments,” Williams wrote.

Although the brothers did not continue to pursue acting, they starred in the 2017 documentary Cleanin’ Up The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters.

His death report disclosed that William cut him down before calling 911, but it was too late. When the first responders arrived at the home, "his death was then confirmed without medical interventions due to signs of rigidity. He had a long history of depression.”
