The actress has played a model who meets a tragic end, a girl who goes on her honeymoon alone after her shaadi is called off and a legendary patriot. Now she’s signed on to play the former South Indian superstar-turned-Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in a bilingual project that has been titled Thalaivi in Tamil and Jaya in Hindi. The biopic is being described as the tale of an achiever who fought for her place in a male-dominated world, and will be helmed by Vijay with a script from Vijayendra Prasad. The role sounds like it’ll fit Kangana like a glove!
