Kartik Aaryan recalls about SRK's Baazigar and his dream!

Kartik Aaryan is busy with the promotions of Pati Patni Aur Woh co-starring Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar.

 

Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan made his debut in 2011 with Pyaar ka Punchnama but it was only in 2018 that Kartik rose to fame with Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety and post that, there has been no looking back for Kartik. Presently, he is busy with the promotions of Pati Patni Aur Woh co-starring Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar.

 

Just like any other teenager, Kartik too had dreams of becoming an actor but back in the day, he thought of pursuing career in ‘engineering’ but it was after he watched Shah Rukh Khan's Baazigar in 9th grade that he decided to become an actor as he tells, “But in 9th grade, I saw Baazigar & I knew I wanted to be on the other side of the screen.” Additionally, Kartik goes on to say that, “My parents were in the medical field and I was going to do engineering. I was unsure of my parents' reaction, so I decided to study till 12th in Gwalior and then go to college in Mumbai. Luckily, I got into a college in Navi Mumbai.”

 

Even post his debut film, things didn’t change much for Kartik as there weren’t many opportunities and he tells that he continued to live in the same flat with 12 boys till his third film. Due to lack of chances, his mother asked him to finish his degree and so while shooting, he gave his exams. But Kartik admits that post Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, it all changed.
