Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor to star in Anurag Basu's Life in a Metro sequel?

Director Anurag Basu gave us a hit film as Life in a Metro (2007) which combines four stories and it was backed by a huge star cast including Kangana Ranaut, Dharmendra, Sharman Joshi, Shilpa Shetty and others. Now, the filmmaker is working on the sequel of the movie which was critically acclaimed and a hit at the box office. Conjectures of the casting have already been underway with the newest reports suggesting that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor may star in the movie.

 

Kareena and Arjun had earlier worked in R Balki's Ki & Ka (2016). A daily had stated that Kareena and Arjun have been cast in this multi-starrer but will be a part of two different stories. Anurag finally broke his silence on the same on Twitter. Anurag Basu posted, "Casting of an ensemble cast film can only be locked after securing combination dates of all the actors. Bohut mushkil kaam hai, sab ke calendars ek saal ke liye full hain. Aur mein ghode pe sawar hun. Will keep you posted. Final cast will be announced soon."
