Deepika Padukone Ranveer Singh to get married today as per Konkani traditions!

Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh stunned the world in October by confirming the marriage rumours. Both began dating in 2012 when they were paired opposite each other in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013). Through an graceful statement on Twitter, Deepika and Ranveer disclosed that they were getting wedded on November 14-15, 2018, at Lake Como, Italy. The marriage venue for Deepika and Ranveer is Villa del Balbianello.

 

Due to their South Indian and Sindhi backgrounds, two ceremonies will be held in Italy. One will be of the South Indian style and the other will be Sindhi style. Today, i.e. November 14, 2018, Deepika and Ranveer are set to get married as per the Konkani traditions. Deepika will be decked in a beautiful kanjeevaram saree while we could see the groom adorning a kanjeevaram sherwani.

 

In the meantime, tomorrow, i.e. November 15, 2018, Deepika and Ranveer will have the second ceremony, which is an Anand Karaj like how Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja and Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli had previously.
