She's delivered the vision that we envisaged, says Manikarnika producer Kamal Jain on Kangana!

Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut's next will be Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The actress essays the role of Indian warrior and freedom fighter Rani Laxmibai in the movie. After director Krish walked out of the movie due to his other commitments, Kangana donned the director's hat and made sure the movie gets finished on the time.

 

But, finishing the shoot of the movie wasn't easy for Kangana. Actor Sonu Sood, who was supposed to essay Sadashiv in the movie left the film midway after Kangana took over Manikarnika as a director. He was then replaced with Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. While speaking to a daily, the film's producer Kamal Jain told that the actress is very attached to Manikarnika. He revealed, "You haven’t seen a woman warrior fight like this on Indian screens before. What Kangana has managed to do is commendable."

 

Kamal Jain further added, "Kangana is very attached to Manikarnika. She has given her heart and soul to the project. Once you see the film, you will know she’s done a phenomenal job. She’s delivered the vision that we envisaged. It’s a spectacle coming everyone’s way this January 25. We are definitely going to wrap the film and the post-production and edits on time."

 

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2019.
