Rajkummar Rao to address the National Police Academy on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day!
Now, Rajkummar Rao will soon be seen in a forthcoming horror comedy movie, Stree. Recently, Rajkummar always puts light on the numerous issues plaguing our country. In order to recognize his efforts towards social issues, the actor has been specifically invited by the National Police Academy in Hyderabad as part of its Independence Day celebrations.
Presently, Rajkummar is shuttling between Stree promotions and the shoot of Ekta Kapoor’s Mental Hai Kya, he will take a day off from his movie commitments and fly down to Hyderabad on 18th August. Speaking to a daily, Rajkummar Rao revealed, “I strongly believe that our cops work tirelessly for the citizens, and we feel safe and protected under their provision. As civilized citizens, we have to be equally responsible towards the society that we are part of, and help cops to make the country a better to live in.”
He added later, “What motivates me the most about our men in uniform is their honesty and dedication towards their duty, not to forget the way they conduct their disciplined lifestyle. Be it any government holiday or festival, they are always on duty to ensure that the country and its citizens are safe,” Rao points out, adding, “We can only imagine the hardships that the cops and their families have to face when it comes to making personal choices.”
