Jimmy Shergill recalls working for 48 hours without breaks in Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond!

Jimmy Shergill rose to fame in the musical love drama Mohabbatein, where he portrayed Karan Choudhry. He has since contributed to numerous Hindi and Punjabi motion pictures. He is creating another captivating and exciting show called Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond after wowing the audience with his performance in the web series Choona. The actor talked about how difficult it was to film for the show in an interview.

 

The teaser for Lara Dutta and Jimmy Shergill's new television series Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond was released on April 17. The actress revealed to a media source that her character is unlike any role he has played in the past when they were discussing the war-room drama.

 

He further revealed, “It has been challenging, to say the least, but also immensely satisfying to be part of India’s first war-room-focused web series inspired by real-life events that shook the nation. We always read or hear about what happens on-ground during a war-like situation but being a part of Ranneeti allowed me to witness first-hand the strategy, the risk-taking, as well as the emotional trajectory of those who call the shots from inside the war-room.”

 

He also recalled the challenging schedule in which not a single cast member voiced any complaints despite the unit working nonstop for 48 hours. “We were on no sleep but the adrenaline rush kept us going and how. It felt like we were right there in the middle of all the action,” he specified.

 

In addition to Jimmy, the ensemble cast consists of Lara Dutta, Ashish Vidyarthi, Ashutosh Rana, and Prasanna.
