I am hopeful we will make the sequel one day, says Aamir Khan on Sarfarosh 2!

Superstar Aamir Khan celebrated his 53rd birthday lately. He took a day off from the shoot of Thugs of Hindostan in Jodhpur. Aamir returned to Mumbai and celebrated with wife Kiran Rao and the media.

 

Aamir and Kiran’s PDA caught all the attention at the press conference. He even cut the cake in the presence of the media. Aamir has joined Instagram on his birthday and shared the photo of his mother as his first post. He disclosed that wife Kiran Rao persuaded him to join the platform.

 

In the evening, he went live on Instagram to speak with his fans, who were waiting to hear him all day. He took up a lot of queries from his admirers and one of them was about Sarfarosh 2.

 

He told, ‘’It is one of my favourite films. Sarfarosh part 2 bane toh sabse zyaada khushimujhe milegi. ACP Rathore ka kirdaar parde pe laana chahunga. Maine John (director) sekahaa ki aap iska part 2 banaie. Woh ab tak kahaan nahi leke aaye. But I am hopeful we will make the sequel one day.’’

 

There were reports many years back that Aamir and John Mathew Mathan were thinking of making ACP Rathore return to the big screen with another absorbing story.
