Deepika Padukone opens ups about her wax statue at Madame Tussauds!
Recently, Deepika Padukone uncovered her wax statue at Madame Tussauds in London. The wax statue features Padukone's Cannes look of 2018. The actress was accompanied by her hubby Ranveer Singh and her parents Prakash Padukone, Ujjala Padukone and her in-laws Jagjit and Anju Bhavnani. The actress looked very glad and also posed along with her wax statue and snapped selfies, photographs and videos.
While talking to a daily, Deepika shared her thoughts on her wax statue at Madame Tussauds. She told that the direction in which the world is moving, everyone is connected with one another but having messengers of hope is also quite important. Deepika said that we need people that inspire and remain honest.
"Ever since I was a little girl, the question I always asked myself was, ‘What is my purpose behind what I am doing?’ I am extremely fortunate and privileged and I have worked hard as a human being to get to this place today and, through films, have the ability to touch and influence people’s lives. I value that a lot and I think it’s very important," specified Deepika.
On the film front, Deepika Padukone will be working in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak which also stars Vikrant Massey in the lead role.
