As a woman, I feel very hurt that this has happened, says Alia Bhatt on recent rape case!

The terrible facts of the Kathua rape and murder case has left the whole nation in shock and disbelief. An 8-year-old was abducted, sedated, inhumanely raped over days and then finally murdered. The police has arrested eight persons in the case but the Bar Association has opposed the action alleging "targeting of minority Dogras".

 

Recently, at the song launch of Raazi, Alia Bhatt was questioned about the case, "It's a terrible thing that has happened. As a girl, a woman, an individual, a human being and as a part of this country, I feel very bad and hurt that this has happened."

 

"There was a time when I was reading a lot about it. From the last two days, I have parted myself with this as this was making me more and more upset and angry. I really hope, in my heart, that justice is served. We all should go out and condemn it," further added Alia Bhatt.
