Anil Kapoor to put on weight to essay Shah Jahan in Karan Johar's next Takht?

Ever since Karan Johar has pronounced his next directorial endeavor, the viewers have been really excited. Karan Johar will be going behind the camera for one of the most heroic stories and it is titled as ‘Takht’. Karan Johar disclosed previously that the film will star Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in the main lead.

 

As per reports, this movie will be about mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Now, reports are in about his role that Anil Kapoor will have to put on a lot of weight to play Shah Jahan. As per reports, “Anil will be putting on a lot of weight to look his part. He is currently extremely lean and fit, but early next year, he will be on a different diet and will gain quite a few kilos before he begins shoot for the period drama.”
