NEWS RATING
Vidya Balan starrer Tumhari Sulu's music is an average one just like her previous films Begum Jaan, Kahaani 2, Bobby Jasoos etc. It is not a memorable one.

The album starts with song Ban Ja Rani. Guru Randhawa's Ban Ja Rani has been a really popular song in the non-Bollywood world and now that it has been introduced into the mainstream, there is some sort of recall value that gets added to it. It is a soft sounding track.

The next one is Hawa Hawai 2.0. Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Javed Akhtar and Kavita Krishnamurthy's Hawa Hawai from Mr. India is recreated as Hawa Hawai 2.0 by Tanishk Bagchi who does a equally decent job in guaranteeing that the essence of the original is retained in Tumhari Sulu.

The next one is Shalmali Kholgade’s Manva Likes To Fly which has a 'desi' feel, courtesy Tanishk Bagchi and Vayu who take care of the music and lyrics respectively.

The next one is Farrata which is composed by Amartya Rahut "Bobo" and written by Siddhant Kaushal. It has a bunch of singers coming together in the form of Armaan Malik, Adityan, Dev Arijit and Tushar Joshi. It is an average song.

Last one is Rafu and it turns out to be an average one. Sung by Ronkini Gupta and composed/written by Santanu Ghatak, this one is also an ordinary.
