NEWS RATING
Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana has as many as 11 tracks which ends up surprising you. Composer and lyricist Arko has been doing well for a while now and though stereotypically he contributes with only a song or two in a film's soundtrack, time and again they do end up making at least a decent to good impression.

The album starts with Jogi, which makes an impact for sure with a romantic outing that is bound to find good attention in days and weeks to come. Sung by Yasser Desai and Aakanksha Sharma, this one is a simple song with a small town feel to it.

The next one is Pritam’s Main Hoon Saath Tere which is yet another inherently romantic number. This is the kind of music that was a rage a decade ago and is still fresh in viewers memory. This one is written by written by Shakeel Azmi & Kunaal Verma and has Arijit Singh making an impression all over again. Later newcomer Shivangi Bhayana gets a version to sing as well and she does make an impression with a voice that indeed stands out.

The next one is Pallo Latke. In spite of its genre, it doesn't break the flow of Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana as writer Kumaar along with composers Raees & Zain-Sam make sure that the traditional folk flavor of Pallo Latke is not disturbed. Newcomer Jyotica Tangri does a decent job along with Yasser Desai while Fazilpuria makes sure that his rap interspersion is noted well.

The next one is Asit Tripathy’s Tu Banja Gali Benaras Ki who gets to croon Rashid Khan composed and Shakeel Azmi written song. A 'desi' number that reminds one of the kind of music that one had heard in Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar's Toilet - Ek Prem Katha previously this year, Tu Banja Gali Benaras Ki too has a couple of more versions for it. While Shafqat Amanat Ali's version does make for a good hear too, someway Asees Kaur's version seems a bit odd and one would rather go back to the male versions.

The album ends with Mera Intkam Dekhegi which pretty much belongs to the 'love revenge' genre. Lyricist Gaurav Krishna Bansal bares his heart out with this song that is set to play an integral part in the film's story once Rajkummar Rao realizes that he has been taken for a ride by his on-screen lady love Kriti Kharbanda. Sung well by Krishna Beuraa, this situational song is composed by Anand Raaj Anand who later also comes behind the mike to croon a version of his own.

The album with 11 tracks is melodious and tuneful. All songs support to narrative of film.
