Taron Egerton in talks for Lionsgate's 'Robin Hood: Origins'!

Taron Egerton is gearing up to don the green tights!

 

The Kingsman star has signed a project about the origins of Robin Hood that’ll be directed by Otto Bathurst. Insiders say the film will be a gritty, revisionist take on the story of the fabled hero, a la Chris Nolan’s Dark Knight films. While Taron will play the prince of thieves, the movie will also feature Jamie Foxx as a battle-hardened Little John, Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham and Eve Hewson as Maid Marian. This one already sounds exciting!
