Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding and its schedule!
The powerful couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were engaged in November 2017.
A statement by Prince Charles read as, "His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms. Meghan Markle. The wedding will take place in Spring 2018. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course. His Royal Highness and Ms. Markle became engaged in London earlier this month. Prince Harry has informed Her Majesty The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince Harry has also sought and received the blessing of Ms. Markle's parents. The couple will live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace."
Now, the royal wedding will take place on May 19, 2018, in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. Some more details about the wedding ceremony have been disclosed by the Kensington Palace via a statement.
The marriage service will take place at 12 pm and Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby will be officiating the ceremony as the couple takes their vows.
At 1 pm the wedding couple will embark on a carriage procession from St George’s Chapel through Windsor. The procession consists of one carriage and will leave Windsor Castle via Castle Hill, heading along the High Street, Sheet Street, Kings Road, Albert Road, before returning via the Long Walk.
"They hope this short journey will provide an opportunity for more people to come together around Windsor and to enjoy the atmosphere of this special day," the statement by Kensington Palace reads.
A reception for the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be held at St. George's Hall. In the evening, Prince Charles will host a private reception for the couple, their family and close friends.
