He was my love, my rock, my protector, says Asia Argento about Anthony Bourdain!

Talented chef, writer and host Anthony Bourdain passed away at the age of 61. He committed suicide and was found unresponsive by a close friend.

 

He was in France working on the forthcoming episode of season 11 of ‘Parts Unknown’ for CNN.

 

Bourdain’s girlfriend of two years Asia Argento issued a statement on her social media account. She wrote, “Anthony gave all of himself in everything that he did. His brilliant, fearless spirit touched and inspired so many, and his generosity knew no bounds. He was my love, my rock, my protector. I am beyond devastated. My thoughts are with his family. I would ask that you respect their privacy and mine.”

 

Asia Argento met Anthony Bourdain when they shot for an episode for the travel series' 8th season which was filmed in Rome. They have since then continued to collaborate on the show.
