Director Glenn Weiss to propose girlfriend Jan Svendsen after accepting the Emmy Award!

As per media reports, director Glenn Weiss just proposed to his girlfriend Jan Svendsen live while accepting an award at the Emmy Award. The director was felicitated for his work directing the Oscars” (ABC). While accepting the awards, Glenn just broke into an unplanned proposal and told, "Jan, you are the sunshine in my life."

 

He told, "And mom was right, don't ever let go of your sunshine. You wonder why I don't like to call you my girlfriend? Because I want to call you my wife."

 

This came as an astonishment to Jan herself who looked stunned as the crowd cheered him on. As soon as Jan came on stage, Glenn went down on his knees and presented his mother's ring to her making everybody gush at the same time. While popping the marriage question, he told, "I want to put this ring that my mom wore on your finger in front of all these people and in front of my mom and your parents watching from above. Will you marry me?"

 

Now, who could resist such a loveable proposal? Jan obviously told a big YES.
