POWER LADIES REUNITE!

The brains behind Lipstick Under My Burkha are reuniting to make another woman-centric film.

 

This time Ekta Kapoor and Alankrita Shrivastava will make a coming-of-age story set in modern day North India. The screenplay will centre on two ladies who are yet to be cast since Alankrita wants to have the screenplay in place before she actually approaches any actors. Expectations from this one will be sky-high after Lipstick Under My Burkha turned into a surprise hit, but I have no doubt that the film will deliver.
