Madhubala’s sister Madhur Brij Bhushan has announced plans to make a film about her iconic sister who was known around the world as the Marilyn Monroe of India. While many filmmakers have wanted the rights to the Mughal-E-Azam’s star’s life, Madhur only agreed after a producer granted her creative input on the project. I’m curious to see if the murkier aspects of Madhubala’s career and personal life make the screenplay.
