TAAPSEE IN KHAKHI!

Late last year Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan signed Shailesh R Singh's small town cop drama about two IPS officers who're married to each other, but in early 2018 they confirmed they'd both dropped out of it.

 

Now Shailesh has reworked the script, changing it from a drama to a black comedy, and he’s approached Taapsee Pannu to play its female lead. The filmmaker thinks Taapsee’s track record of hard-hitting films makes her the perfect fit to play the tough character. Let’s see if she says yes.
