I would love to be a part of a chick flick, says Anushka Sharma!

Anushka Sharma is presently ready for the big release of her second venture as a producer, Phillauri. The 28-year-old actress will also be depicting the role of a ghost in the romantic comedy and will be seen donning a desi look for the same.
Anushka, as we know, has been a part of a variety of projects, lately said a famous tabloid that she would love to be a part of a chick flick and elaborated on why this genre can be a huge hit among masses.
Talking on it Anushka said, “I would love to do a chick flick. I love exploring new things and genres so I am looking forward to doing one.”
Anushka further disclosed that she is looking for an interesting concept to be a part of a chick flick and told, “I have been wanting to do a chick flick but you have to find the correct writers for it. It cannot be the same old stereotypical story. It needs to have a new language or a new idea to tackle. There needs to be something relevant and interesting. The minute I find a good writer, I am totally on!”
Disclosing that Bridesmaids is her favourite movie from the genre, the actress explained why a chick flick can make for an amazing story.
She explained, “Women are such complicated, complex characters - not in a negative way - but there is much depth and layers to them. It will be interesting to show the interpersonal relationship between women without the presence of a man. It can make for amazing stories. Look at the films being made in the West. We have seen so many stories exploring women and their relationships with each other.”
About her forthcoming next, Phillauri that also Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma will hit the silver screen on March 24.
