Suriya's Ghajini sequel on the cards in 2019?

Tamil star Suriya's 2005 movie Ghajini had made headlines during the time. The psychological thriller directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by Salem Chandrasekharan also featured Asin, Nayantara, with Pradeep Rawat and Riyaz Khan. The film was also remade in Bollywood featuring Aamir Khan in the lead. Well, there has been a buzz for some time now, that the film will have a sequel. But, it does seem like 2019 will be the year for Ghajini 2.
News has it that producer of the Hindi remake, Allu Arvind has registered the title Ghajini 2 in Telugu and Hindi. But, no official confirmations have been made as of yet. Conjectures about Aamir Khan prepping for the sequel, have also been doing the rounds. Seemingly, Aamir was overheard to be commenting about his new diet, for a new role. That got us wondering if it was for Ghajini. Well, time will surely tell. Until then, we are super excited to be looking forward to this one.
